AIEC, Association of International Educational Consultants, is a non-profit Association registered under the law of the Republic of India. Headquartered in Cochin, Kerala, India, was formed in 2012 to protect the professional values of Business and Profession of Overseas Education Consultants and address various problems related to the industry. Members are the companies working as the Official Representatives in India for Foreign Universities and Colleges.
Consulting for study in :Australia, Canada, Europe & European Union, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore,Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States of America, etc..

AIEC, the Association of Consultants for Overseas Studies is an Organization formed in 2012 to protect the professional values of Business/Profession of ‘Overseas Education Consultant’.
AIEC and its Members has proven track record of providing guidance and ideas to students going for higher studies. Members of AIEC are Professional Educational consultants who offer specialized information about the country where students would like to study, the university they would like to join and the course they would like to undertake. AIEC Members offer the required assistance and help to make sure that students dreams to study at a university of their choice come true. Today, a large number of students also dream of going abroad to do their graduation and higher studies. The objective of the enterprise is to provide consultancy and technical services to aspiring students and working professionals in order to help them get admission in various fields of education on a global basis. On that perspective, AIEC strives to confirm the trustworthiness, genuine business practices, service quality and professionalism of its Members through various guidelines, best business practices & policies and parameters to safe guard the value of this industry hence students, parents, professionals and overseas educations institutions can fully rely, access and enjoy the service of AIEC Members.

Objectives of AIEC
- To organize the quality services of all AIEC Members involved in promoting overseas education.
- To promote the good reputation of AIEC members throughout India and abroad and to foster free exchange of ideas and cooperation between members.
- To conduct workshops, meetings and seminars in order to submit information to the Government and to the general public on the benefits of overseas education and the procedures involved with it.
- To provide guidelines on overseas education to all departments of Government, statutory authorities and organizations involved in promoting overseas institutions and to support or oppose bills or other legislation affecting the interests of the industry and its members.
- To promote inter cultural understanding by providing a platform for discussion to all organizations involved in the industry.
- To promote overseas education by means of education fairs, meetings, exhibitions, seminars etc.
- To develop, establish, promote and maintain the policies, standards and best business practices for the conduct of Members and to ensure that the services provided by Members are of the highest standard and in accordance with the Code of Ethics.
- To promote and strengthen business cooperation among Members by encouraging student referrals within members.
- To represent the grievances and support every Member of the Association.
- To institute seasonal awards to felicitate best performing Members
- To arrange discussion forum with Foreign Embassy Staffs who are working with Students Visa Sections
- To arrange meetings with Legislative Dept.s, and other concerned Govt. depts. officials to discuss the issues to safe guard the overseas education industry
- To arrange board level meetings with financial institutions to assist students for their financial requirements
- To streamline and verify the quality of service AIEC Members are providing to the students and to the society as a whole
- To eradicate, eliminate and notify any unlawful trade practices in the Overseas Education Industry which may harm the students, parents, overseas education institutions and AIEC Members
Code of Ethics for AIEC Members
- Maintain high standards of professional conduct of business upholding this code all times among
- Demonstrate appropriate attributes and qualities to competently service the needs of students/parents
- Establish appropriate resources and procedures required to provide professional services to students
- Refrain from unjustified criticism of other educational advisors and institutions and seek to resolve any conflict of advice directly with the party concerned in a professional manner
- Provide students and institutions with information they need and avoid withholding relevant information
- Advertise in ethical manner by not engaging in false, misleading or damaging messages
- Work with institutions and professional bodies as a provider of high quality educational advisor
- Always act in the best interests of the student, while respecting institutional policies, statutory and legal
